Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026. aryah inc, doing business as AnswerShare (“AnswerShare”, “we”).
What we collect
- Business contact details you give us: name, work email, company, and messages you send us.
- Client work data: public website content we crawl, measurement results from AI answer engines about your brand, and, where you grant read-only access, aggregate website analytics and search-performance data (for example Google Analytics 4 and Search Console reports). We do not pull user-level, transaction or revenue data from your analytics.
- Billing data: invoices and payment status handled through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
- Website and server logs: IP address, user agent and request details from our sites and crawler endpoints.
- Site analytics on answershare.com, our proposal pages and client dashboards: Google Analytics 4 with advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization turned off. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Visitors in Europe are asked for consent before analytics cookies are set. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Bank data: AnswerShare connects its own business bank account through Plaid, read-only, to match client payments to invoices. This is our own account, not a consumer service. Using Plaid Link, we never see bank login credentials. How Plaid handles data is described in its privacy policy at plaid.com/legal.
Why we use it
To deliver and improve our service, measure AI visibility, support clients, bill and reconcile payments, secure our systems, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent personal data and do not share it with third-party marketers. We run no advertising trackers and build no behavioral profiles for ad targeting.
Who processes data for us
Google (Workspace, Analytics, Search Console), Cloudflare (network and edge), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Plaid (bank connectivity for our own account), GitHub (code hosting), and AI model providers that analyze content we submit. Processors act under their own terms and security programs.
Our crawler
AnswerShareBot identifies itself by user agent and respects robots.txt. Sites can block it the same way they block any other crawler.
How long we keep it
- Raw IP addresses in server and crawler logs: 30 days, then the logs are aggregated without IP addresses.
- Client evidence and analytics exports: for the engagement plus 12 months.
- Bank transaction records: 7 years, then deleted.
- Plaid access is removed and its token deleted within 30 days after we stop using it.
- Accounting and invoice records: 7 years.
Deletion requests are handled within 30 days, subject to legal holds and the accounting-record period.
Security
We use multi-factor authentication on our Google Workspace accounts, encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our services and to the third parties we call, encryption at rest through our hosting providers, and reviewed change control for our code. No system is perfectly secure. We notify affected clients and partners within 24 hours of confirming an incident that affects their data, and regulators where the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or California law) you may ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email us and we respond within 30 days.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date.
